All palettes (and only palettes, not patterns) can be rotated. This feature has existed for a long time. Simply click on the Rotate button which is below the palette. However they can't stay like this. They never have and this hasn't changed. ![]() ![]() ![]() hospedale… hospedales wrote: 12 Apr, 2008
Hi klip...it is posted in this Group...http://www.colourlovers.com/group/Show_Me_Your_Widths. Look in conversations...isotope.151's widths and quilts...it's fabuloso...

I think we misunderstood each other, hospedales. :) I thought you meant that it was possible to permanently display one's palette this way on the palette page. It isn't. What isotope is doing is getting the link where the palette is rotated then using it to recreate a badge. I'm going to explain how you can do this using one of your palettes as an example:
- Go to your palette page: http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/329982/Coconut_ - Rotate your palette. - Right click and select Copy Image Location (I don't what it says in your browser) and paste the link in a text editor or something: http://www.colourlovers.com/paletteImg/4D6033/32201C/FFFFFF/32201C/Coconut_.png?angle=1&cPW=MC41NCwwLjA1LDAuMzYsMC4wNQ== - Then you must copy your palette padge. - In your comment, description or whatever, paste your palette badge. You should get this: <a href="http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/329982/Coconut_?c=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.colourlovers.com/badge/pw/329982/Coconut_.png" style="width: 240px; height: 120px; border: 0 none;" alt="Coconut " /></a> - Replace the source of the image with the URL you got when the palette was rotated: <a href="http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/329982/Coconut_?c=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.colourlovers.com/paletteImg/4D6033/32201C/FFFFFF/32201C/Coconut_.png?angle=1&cPW=MC41NCwwLjA1LDAuMzYsMC4wNQ==" /></a> - That's all. This is what it looks like:
N.B. To make it look smaller and square, Isotope also added width and height attributes: Here's the code: <a href="http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/329982/Coconut_?c=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.colourlovers.com/paletteImg/4D6033/32201C/FFFFFF/32201C/Coconut_.png?angle=1&cPW=MC41NCwwLjA1LDAuMzYsMC4wNQ==" style="width: 135px; height: 135px; border: 0 none;" /></a> Here's what it looks like now: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() hospedale… hospedales wrote: 13 Apr, 2008
Thank you onebreath...I think I initially explained it badly...sorry...but yes this is exactly what I want to accomplish...
Unfortunately, I tried what you suggested and it didn't work when I tried it. I am wondering now if it was because I was having a difficult time staying online that day...I will experiment and see if it works for me. Meanwhile thank you so much for taking the time to write back to me... hospedales... onebreath wrote: I think we misunderstood each other, hospedales. :) I thought you meant that it was possible to permanently display one's palette this way on the palette page. To anyone trying to rotate...if it doesn't work it is because this piece of code is missing from your code...just add it in and your rotate will work...angle=1& just before the cPW. See example above.
