Cant seem to Download Patterns

I am trying to Download a few of the patterns in Ai form, when I open them up all i get is a palate of colors that make up the pattern, What am I missing?

I finally figured out that to download patterns I have to "Get this pattern image" rather than downloading them. I don't know if you were formerly able to download in Ai form, but I never was. Also I have a Mac, don't know if that makes a difference.

Yes, sorry for the confusion... the downloads for ASE and AI are for the palettes not the patterns. Our patterns are only downloadable in .png format.

If you want to use a large size pattern for something you're working on, try downloading the biggest wallpaper of the pattern.

On the page where you can vote, left click and choose "View Background Image". The tile will appear and you can save it.

Whew! I know the patterns I've contributed to colourlovers have been given freely. Plus colourlovers is completely free.
