Year of the Dragon
This year is the year of the dragon and this year's associated element is water. The colour usually associated with water is blue, while as a chinese element it is usually associated with black. Hence the deep dark blue chosen here. The dark and murky colour also fits the unclear future and prospects of the year 2012
